Creation of a new “main thoroughfare” for the whole hospital area. Elements suitable for children are placed side by side along the 340 m length of the building.

Challenges overcome: Refurbishment during normal hospital operation, replacement of a specialist planner during the execution planning phase, management of complex construction stages.
The primary design concept was to create a uniform appearance on the outside and an intimate atmosphere on the inside. High levels of daylight increase the sense of well-being for patients and staff alike.

Construction and renovation of a hospital department for geriatrics with 76 beds in combination with the lymphology.
