In the future, the district courts of Thalgau, Neumarkt and Oberndorf will be combined at the new location in Salzburg's Flachgau region. Construction completion is planned for September 2022, and the district court will start operations in winter 2022. According to the plans of the Viennese architectural firm g.o.y.a ZT GmbH, a five-story office building with a central atrium and an area of around 2,600 square meters is being built. While citizens are served and negotiations are held on the ground floor, the offices for almost 65 employees are located on the three upper floors. The basement provides space for building services and storage. In front of the building, there are 25 parking spaces for visitors and 20 for employees, as well as 35 bicycle parking spaces.
The building is connected to biomass local heating and produces part of its own electricity needs with a photovoltaic system on the roof. At night, the district court is naturally cooled by opening the atrium.
Challenges to be overcome:
Elaborate excavation support.
PM1 is responsible for the local construction supervision.
