project description
Client: Konradinum Eugendorf
Architect: thalmeier architektur
Functions:
The cornerstones of the new Konradinum are 36 care places (instead of 35 previously) in five residential groups, two short-term care places integrated into the residential groups and one room (with two places) with the possibility to care for young respiratory patients. For targeted support and employment of the residents, rooms outside the residential groups are planned.
During the day, there are day-structured offers of employment, craft and creative activities, basal support and therapies. In addition to the residents of the Konradinum, the day-structured care will also provide care places for about ten external persons.
Challenges overcome:
Securing the qualities and quantities for the future tenant/user. Advising the client on costs, costs, special requests from tenants/users and the effects of changes in execution on the project result.
