Functions:
The former office building will be completely renovated and converted into a hotel. In the inner courtyard there will be a terrace and 10 parking spaces.
In addition to its main use as a hotel, the building houses two apartments, a bank branch and a tobacconist's shop.
Challenges overcome:
In addition to the time-consuming approval procedure due to the requirements of the Federal Monument Office and the Expert Commission in the Old Town Protection Zone 2, the full operation during the planning phase means that only limited component openings and explorations of the existing structure are possible. The bank branch will remain in operation during the conversion work. During the implementation, particular attention is paid to the cramped inner-city conditions.
